2 c. brown sugar
2 c. milk
6 tsp. flour
6 tsp. water
4 tsp. shortening or margarine
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation

Cook until thick.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Use egg whites for meringue; put on pie.
