Prune Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 eggs, beaten
2 c. sugar
1 c. Wesson oil
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. prunes (straight from pkg.)
1 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream together sugar, eggs and Wesson oil.
Add soda, nutmeg, cinnamon and salt to flour.
Cut prunes in small pieces.
Add 2 or 3 tablespoons of flour mixture to coat prunes and nuts.
Add flour mixture alternately with buttermilk to the creamed mixture.
After well mixed, fold in prunes and nuts.
Pour into loaf pan approximately 8 x 5 x 3-inch.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 1 hour.
