Shrimp And Papaya With Asian Dunk Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large (1 lb.) ripe papaya
    1 Tbsp. chopped fresh cilantro (coriander)
    24 (3/4 lb. total) peeled, cooked large shrimp
    1/4 c. lime juice
    2 tsp. fish sauce (nam pla or nuoc mam) or soy sauce
    2 tsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. crushed dried hot red chilies
Preparation
    Peel and seed the papaya. Cut into 3/4-inch chunks.
    Mix with the cilantro and mound on a platter.
    Beside it, arrange the shrimp.
    In a bowl, stir the lime juice and fish sauce or soy sauce, sugar and dried red hot chilies.
    Spear fruit and shrimp with tiny forks to dip into sauce.
    Serves 12.
