Copper Pennies(Must Do Ahead) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

18 carrots, peeled and sliced
1 tsp. sugar
2 medium green peppers, sliced
1 large onion, sliced
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can tomato soup
1/2 c. salad oil
3/4 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Boil carrots 3 minutes with 1 teaspoon sugar.
Drain and cool. Alternate layers of carrots, green peppers and onions.
Blend remaining ingredients and cook in saucepan until heated.
Pour over veggies.
Refrigerate at least 24 hours to marinate.
