Mexican Cornbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. self-rising meal
    1 1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 c. grated cheese
    1 large jalapeno pepper
    1/4 c. oil
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 large onion, grated
    2 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. cream-style corn
Preparation
    Mix and bake at 400\u00b0 in a well-greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Cool slightly and cut in squares.
