Mexican Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green bell peppers
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 envelope taco seasoning mix
    2 c. cooked white rice
    1 c. Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut tops off bell peppers.
    Scoop out seeds and membranes.
    Discard.
    Heat a large skillet.
    Add beef and onion.
    Cook about 5 minutes until beef is browned; drain fat.
    Add taco seasoning mix to skillet.
    Cook about 5 minutes more.
    Add rice, mixing well.
    Cook for 3 minutes longer.
    Scoop beef mixture into peppers.
    Place in a baking dish.
    Add about 1/4-inch water to dish; cover.
    Bake for 20 minutes.
    Uncover.
    Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
    Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes longer.
