Pan-Roasted Corn With Green Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    1 1/2 c. minced white onion
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1/2 tsp. ancho or regular chili powder
    5 c. fresh or frozen corn kernels
    1 bunch green onions, sliced (1 c.)
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. black pepper
    1/4 c. chopped fresh cilantro
Preparation
    In 12-inch skillet, melt butter. Add onion, garlic and chili powder; cook 7 minutes to brown lightly. Add corn, green onions, salt and pepper. Cook until corn is just tender. Add cilantro. Makes 8 servings.
