Back To School Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 egg
    3/4 tsp. vinegar
    3 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. molasses
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add egg and molasses, beat well. Stir in vinegar, evaporated milk.
    Mix and sift dry ingredients. Add molasses mixture.
    Drop from tablespoon on greased sheets. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 15 minutes.
    Makes about 6 dozen.
