Raisin Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. raisins
    3 c. water
    3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oleo or butter
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 tsp. cloves
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    3 tsp. baking soda, scalded in a little hot water
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon flavor
    5 1/2 c. flour
Preparation
    In a saucepan, boil raisins, water, sugar, butter, salt, cloves, cinnamon and nutmeg 3 minutes.
    Remove from heat and cool. Stir in baking soda, baking powder, flour and lemon flavoring. Mix well.
    Place mixture in a greased Bundt pan and bake for 1 hour at 325\u00b0 or 2 large loaf pans for 1 1/4 hours at 325\u00b0.
    This is a great cake.
