Ten-Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 c. self-rising flour
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    Frosting
Preparation
    Combine eggs, sugar, flour, shortening, milk and vanilla in large mixer bowl; beat well.
    Pour 3 tablespoons batter into each of 10 greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 4 to 5 minutes or until light brown.
    Remove to wire racks to cool.
    Spread frosting between layers and over top of cake. Yield:
    12 servings.
