Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c. thinly sliced cucumbers
    1 c. onions, thinly sliced
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Put the salt over the cucumbers and onions and let set for 1 hour.
    Drain well and add sugar, vinegar and celery seed by pouring over the vegetables.
    Do not heat.
    Stir the ingredients to mix celery seed.
    Place in uncovered bowl in refrigerator.
