Old Time Coleslaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. mayonnaise
    1/3 c. cider or white wine vinegar
    1/4 c. sugar
    3/4 tsp. celery salt
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 head cabbage (about 2 lb.), chopped
    2 carrots, shredded
    1 small onion, minced
Preparation
    In a large bowl, stir mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, celery salt, salt and pepper until well combined.
    Add cabbage, carrots and onion.
    Toss gently to coat well.
    Chill covered at least 1 hour. Toss gently before serving.
    Makes 8 servings.
