Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. (about 3) mashed bananas
3 Tbsp. sour cream
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar.
Beat in eggs, bananas, sour cream and lemon juice.
Sift all dry ingredients.
Add to first mixture just until flour mixture is moistened.
Bake in greased and floured 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes. Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and finish cooling on rack.
