Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. bag frozen hash browns (regular not prebrowned), thawed
    1/4 c. melted butter
    1 pt. sour cream
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    2 c. crushed corn flakes
    1/4 c. melted butter
Preparation
    Combine butter, salt, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese. Stir well, then mix with thawed potatoes.
    Pour into 3-quart casserole.
    Top with 2 cups crushed corn flakes mixed with 1/4 cup melted butter.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 60 minutes or until bubbly and brown on top.
    Can be made in advance.
    Serves 6.
