Southern Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 chickens, cut up
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. paprika
    2 tsp. poultry seasoning
    2 tsp. onion powder
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 to 2 c. vegetable oil (1/2-inch deep in skillet)
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 375\u00b0. Dip chicken in buttermilk, then in seasoned flour. Brown for 5 minutes, turning frequently. Cover and reduce heat to 325\u00b0.
    Cook for 15 minutes, turning occasionally. Remove cover and fry another 5 minutes.
