Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. margarine
    1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    4 chicken bouillon cubes
    4 c. water
    4 c. half and half
    1 c. chopped fresh broccoli
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Melt margarine in saucepan over low heat.
    Turn off.
    Blend in flour with wire whisk; set aside.
    In Dutch oven, combine bouillon cubes and water.
    Heat over high heat until cubes dissolve.
    Add half and half, broccoli, soda and pepper.
    Bring to a boil.
    Stir in flour mixture.
    Reduce heat.
    Cook 5 to 8 minutes, stirring often.
    Yields 16 servings.
