Pickled Green Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 gal. broken green beans
    2 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 pt. apple cider vinegar
Preparation
    Use enough water to cover the beans in large pot.
    Bring to a full, rolling boil.
    Boil one hour.
    Pour into clean, hot jars and seal.
    You can pour off the liquid when you open a jar.
    Add fresh water to finish cooking or leave the canning liquid and finish cooking.
    I drain my beans and add fresh water.
    Not as tart, but good.
