Chili Con Queso - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. lean ground beef
1 diced small onion
1 small green pepper
1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1/4 c. chili powder
1/2 bay leaf
1 1/2 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. cayenne
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. cumin
1/4 c. tomato paste
1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can kidney beans with stock
Cheddar cheese
Preparation

Brown beef; drain and add to pot.
Saute onion and green pepper.
Add crushed tomatoes and all spices to pot.
Add tomato paste.
Simmer for 1/2 hour.
Add kidney beans; heat thoroughly. Serve in ovenproof crock-pot.
Top with Cheddar cheese, then brown under broiler.
