Baking Powder Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. flour
4 tsp. baking powder
2 Tbsp. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
water
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients and shortening.
Blend with a fork until it resembles small dry grains.
Add enough water to make soft, smooth dough, not sticky.
Roll out 1/2-inch thick; cut into round shapes.
Gather scraps and reroll.
If you want drop biscuits, add more water until sticky and drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Makes approximately 7 to 9 biscuits.
