Pecan Tassies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    2 sticks (1/2 c.) butter or margarine (do not use low-fat versions)
    1 c. all-purpose flour, sifted
    1 egg
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. soft butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. pecan pieces
Preparation
    Pastry:
    Let cream cheese and 2 sticks butter soften at room temperature.
    Blend the cream cheese and butter together.
    Stir in flour.
    Cover and chill 1 hour.
