Gingerbread Cookies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. shortening
1 egg
2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 c. molasses
Preparation

Cream together the shortening and sugar. Beat in egg. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Form dough into small balls. Dip in granulated sugar.
Flatten slightly and place on cookie sheet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
