Apple Dapple - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or oleo
    2 c. sugar
    3 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 Tbsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 c. diced apples
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 c. light brown sugar
    1 stick butter
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Cream 2 sticks of butter or oleo and sugar; mix in eggs.
    Add and beat well, flour, cinnamon, baking soda and vanilla.
    Fold in apples and nuts.
    Pour into greased and floured pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    While cake is baking, boil 1 1/2 minutes, brown sugar, 1 stick butter and milk.
    When cake is done, prick top with fork and then pour mix over top.
