Butter Cream Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 c. powdered sugar, divided
3/4 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. shortening
6 to 8 Tbsp. milk, divided
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Place 3 cups sugar, butter, shortening, 4 tablespoons milk and vanilla in a large bowl.
Beat until smooth.
Add remaining 3 cups sugar; beat at medium speed until light and fluffy; add more milk 1 tablespoon at a time as needed for good spreading consistency.
Makes about 3-1/2 cups.
