Custard Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 eggs, slightly beaten
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. milk (scalded)
9-inch unbaked pastry shell
nutmeg
Preparation

Combine first 4 ingredients in mixing bowl.
Gradually add scalded milk, stirring constantly.
Pour into pastry shell. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Bake in moderate oven (350\u00b0) for 35 to 40 minutes or until filling is set.
