Ingredients

6 oz. can white grape juice concentrate
1 c. figs or dates
3/4 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

In small saucepan, combine the juice concentrate and figs or dates.
Heat over low heat 5 minutes to soften fruit, then pour into blender.
Mix on high 1 minute, until fruit is pureed. Return to saucepan.
Add cornstarch and vanilla and heat over low heat until thickened.
Serve warm.
An alternative of maple syrup most kids like.
