Yellow Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/2 c. sifted (or cake) flour
1 2/3 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk
2/3 c. Crisco or oleo
1 tsp. salt
3 1/2 tsp. double acting baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
Preparation

Measure into mixing bowl the flour or cake flour, sugar, milk, Crisco, salt and baking powder.
Beat vigorously (2 minutes if by hand).
Add milk, vanilla and eggs.
Mix thoroughly.
Pour into greased cake pan.
Bake according to oven directions.
