Mom'S Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. water
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1/4 c. water
    2 1/2 Tbsp. yeast
    1 tsp. sugar
    2 eggs
    flour
Preparation
    Mix first four ingredients and let cool.
    Mix next 3 ingredients.
    Add yeast mixture to cooled water mixture.
    Add eggs, beaten.
    Blend in several cups of flour until dough slightly sticky.
    Let rise twice.
    Shape into rolls.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until golden, about 10 to 12 minutes.
