Caramel Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. flour
1 c. oatmeal
3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. melted margarine or butter
32 light caramels
5 Tbsp. cream or evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. pecan nuts
Preparation

Combine flour, oatmeal, sugar, soda, salt and margarine.
Save a little for topping.
Place the mixture in the bottom of an 11 x 7-inch pan.
Bake for 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Melt caramels.
Add milk or cream; sprinkle chips and pecans over mixture in pan. Spread caramel mixture over this; top with remaining crumbs.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
