Cavatappi Pompilio - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (16 oz.) pkg. cavatappi
3 c. whipping cream
3/4 Tbsp. garlic, minced
2 c. onion, julienned
2 1/2 c. mushrooms, sliced
1 stick sweet cream butter
12 oz. capicolla ham, julienned
3/4 c. Parmesan cheese, grated
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Cook cavatappi according to package directions.
Meanwhile, in a large pot, heat cream and add garlic, onions and mushrooms.
Cook three minutes, stirring constantly.
Stir in butter, capicolla ham and basil.
Stir until butter melts.
Add hot pasta, pea pods and sauce, Parmesan, salt and pepper.
Let thicken.
Serves 8.
