Green Tomato Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. green tomatoes
    2 or 3 bell peppers
    1/2 c. salt
    1 tsp. white mustard
    1 qt. vinegar
    1 head cabbage
    3 onions
    1 tsp. celery seed
    2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Grind tomatoes, cabbage, peppers, onions and hot peppers if you want it hot.
    Put into a dish pan.
    Put salt over and let it stand for about 1 hour or longer.
    Squeeze all of the juice out. If you used hot peppers, use rubber gloves!
    Pour sugar, vinegar, mustard and celery seed and cook until it changes color, from 20 to 30 minutes.
    Put into jars and seal.
