Grandma'S Chocolate Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. scalded milk
    1 c. sugar
    1/3 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 beaten egg yolks
    2 squares Hershey's bitter chocolate, melted
    1 tsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Scald milk in top of double boiler, until scum forms (lift off scum).
    Beat egg yolks and set aside.
    Sift flour, sugar and salt. After milk is scalded, add dry ingredients a little at a time, stirring constantly.
    Cook over low heat about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
    Very slowly, add egg yolks a little at a time and stir.
    Cook about 3 minutes more or until thickened.
    Remove from heat and add chocolate mixture and vanilla until smooth. Cool slightly and pour into an 8-inch pie shell.
