Donna Towners Christmas Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 gal. jar dill pickle strips
    3 c. white sugar
    1 medium onion, chopped fine
    1 tsp. celery seed
    12 Tbsp. vinegar
    3 Tbsp. prepared horseradish
Preparation
    Drain liquid from pickle strips.
    Add ingredients and put in refrigerator.
    Turn jar upside down daily to dissolve sugar.
    Well seasoned in two weeks.
    Keeps in refrigerator for long time.
