Oriental Rice Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. wild or brown rice
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. chopped celery
3 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. soy sauce
5 oz. can sliced water chestnuts
1/3 c. toasted slivered almonds
3 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
Preparation

Add rice to 2 1/4 cups boiling water; reduce heat.
Cover and cook 40 minutes or until water is absorbed.
Cook onion and celery in butter until soft.
Mix all ingredients in casserole dish.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Serves 8.
