Crab Stuffed Tomatoes - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 medium onion
2 oz. celery
2 rashers bacon
3 oz. butter or margarine
2 oz. fresh white bread crumbs
4 oz. crab meat
2 eggs
6 large tomatoes
grated cheese
salt and pepper
6 small rounds of buttered toast
Preparation

Chop onion, celery and bacon finely and fry in butter with the bread crumbs until the onion is tender.
Flake crab meat.
Add crab to the onion mixture and stir in lightly beaten eggs.
Season to taste.
Cut the tops off the tomatoes and scoop out seeds.
Stuff with the crab mixture, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
Serve on hot toast.
