Ingredients

1 c. cooked rice
2 c. milk
3 eggs, separated
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla
raisins
Preparation

Add cooked rice to milk and heat to scalding in double boiler. Beat egg yolks with sugar.
Add rice mixture slowly and beat. Pour back in double boiler and cook until thick.
Fold in raisins. Place in buttered casserole; cover with meringue and brown.
