Pastry For Single-Crust Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/3 c. shortening
3 to 4 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation

In a mixing bowl, stir together flour, salt and sugar.
Cut in shortening until pieces are the size of small peas.
Sprinkle 1 tablespoon of water over part of the mixture; gently toss with a fork.
Push to one side of bowl.
Repeat until all is moistened. Form dough into a ball.
