Quick Cherry Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 to 4 c. cherry pie filling
    1 pkg. white cake mix
    2 cubes butter, melted
    1 c. chopped walnuts
    vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Empty cherries into an 11 x 15-inch baking dish.
    Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly over top of cherries.
    Pour butter over cake mix. Sprinkle walnuts on top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Cool 30 minutes.
    Spoon ice cream on top.
    Serves 12.
