Pineapple Cheesecake - cooking recipe

1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/4 c. sugar
6 Tbsp. melted margarine
1 (13 oz.) can crushed pineapple (reserve 1/2 c. syrup)
1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/2 c. sugar
3 beaten egg yolks
1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
8 oz. cream cheese
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
egg whites
3 Tbsp. sugar
8 oz. Cool Whip
Preparation

Combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and margarine.
Reserve 1/4 cup crumbs.
Press remainder in a 13 x 9-inch baking pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 8 minutes.
