Mom'S Cream Cheese Mints - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 oz. cream cheese, softened
    confectioners sugar
    peppermint extract (about 1/4 tsp. or to taste)
    wintergreen extract (about 1/4 tsp. or to taste)
    red food coloring
    green food coloring
    granulated sugar
Preparation
    Mix cream cheese and confectioners sugar by hand until smooth and doughy.
    Divide mixture in half; add a few drops of peppermint extract to one half and a few drops of wintergreen extract to other half.
    Taste and adjust flavor.
    Blend green food coloring (several drops at a time) into peppermint mixture until soft green; blend red food coloring (several drops at a time) into wintergreen mixture until pastel pink.
    Pinch off small pieces of dough; roll into balls and dip into sugar.
