Tasty Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. cornmeal
3 tsp. baking powder
onion to taste
milk (enough to moisten)
1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. sugar
1 or 2 eggs

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl.
Should have fairly thick consistency.
Drop by tablespoons into boiling Crisco and deep fry until golden brown and crispy.
Serve immediately.
