Stuffed Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    small squash
    onions
    Cheddar cheese
    corn bread crumbs
    butter
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Trim stem end on squash.
    Boil until almost done.
    While boiling, saute onions in butter.
    Crumble corn bread crumbs in onions.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Drain squash; cool slightly.
    Cut in half.
    Scoop out centers.
    Mix squash centers with corn bread mixture.
    Place squash halves in pan.
    Place thin slice of Cheddar cheese in squash boat; add corn bread mixture. Brown in oven at 375\u00b0.
    Remove, add another slice of cheese on top and broil until cheese melts.
