Cherry Pie Elegante - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vinegar
1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sugar
1 baked pie shell
1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Beat egg whites with vinegar and salt until foamy.
Add sugar gradually, beating until stiff.
Spread over bottom and sides of pie shell, sealing to edge.
Bake 10 to 20 minutes or until golden brown; cool.
Spoon pie filling over meringue.
Garnish with whipped cream just before serving.
