Crunchy Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 qt. cucumbers, sliced very thin
    6 medium onions, sliced
    1/3 c. salt (canning salt)
    5 c. sugar
    3 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. turmeric
    2 tsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Combine sugar, vinegar, turmeric, mustard seed and celery seed and bring to boil.
    Drop in cucumbers and let come to a boil.
    Pack in jars and seal.
