Freezer Strawberry Jam - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. fresh strawberries
    5 c. sugar
    1 3/4 oz. pkg. powdered fruit pectin
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Prepare strawberries.
    Drain and cut up.
    Combine with sugar and stir well.
    Set aside 10 minutes.
    Stir pectin in water.
    Bring to boil 1 minute.
    Stir pectin mixture in strawberries.
    Stir 3 minutes.
    Ladle into plastic containers.
    Seal at once.
    Let stand 24 hours.
    Store in freezer.
