Tea Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
    1/4 c. vegetable oil
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1 egg
    2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    sugar sprinkles
Preparation
    Combine first 4 ingredients; mix well and set aside.
    Combine flour, soda and cream of tartar.
    Add to butter mixture.
    Stir well until blended.
    Stir in vanilla.
    Chill dough 1 hour.
    Form 1-inch balls.
    Place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Sprinkle with sugar sprinkles.
    Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
