Pecan Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. confectioners sugar
    2 c. unbleached all-purpose flour
    1/2 lb. (2 sticks) sweet butter, softened
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Grease a 12 x 9-inch baking pan.
    Sift sugar and flour together.
    Cut in butter, using two knives or a pastry blender, until fine crumbs form.
    Pat crust into the prepared baking pan.
    Bake for 20 minutes; remove from oven.
