"My Favorite Cake Frosting" - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. butter or oleo
3/4 c. scalded milk

Preparation

Cream well the sugar, shortening and butter or oleo.
When fluffy, add the scalded milk, 1 tablespoon at a time.
Add vanilla, if desired.
