Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3/4 c. shortening (can use oleo)
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
1 tsp. baking powder
3 3/4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream shortening.
Add sugar and cream well.
Add one egg at a time.
Beat well after each one.
Add vanilla to milk and add alternately with dry ingredients which have been sifted together. Chill at least three hours or overnight.
Roll out and cut into various shapes.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes at 350\u00b0.
