Poppycock - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or oleo
    1/2 c. light corn syrup
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 qt. salted popcorn
    1 1/2 to 2 c. walnuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Put butter, syrup and sugar in large microwave-safe bowl (preferably with handle, like an 8-cup measuring bowl).
    Microwave on High 10 to 11 minutes.
    When candy forms, remove from microwave. Add vanilla; stir.
    Pour over salted popcorn to which nuts have already been added.
    Mix well.
    Spread on wax paper.
    Cool; break up into large pieces.
