Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 boxes Americana instant tapioca
    2 small cans mandarin oranges
    1 jar maraschino cherries
    1 large can pineapple tidbits or chunks
    2 or 3 bananas
Preparation
    Drain fruit.
    Add enough water to juice to make 3 cups liquid.
    Add tapioca and boil until thick.
    Place fruit in 9 x 13-inch pan (glass).
    Pour thickened tapioca over fruit.
    Let set in refrigerator to cool for 6 hours.
